Terms of Service
Effective date: June 19, 2026 · Provider: Proctor Software LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”), a Texas limited liability company. Service: the Familynomics application and website.
By creating an account or using Familynomics, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use Familynomics
You must be at least 18 and a parent or legal guardian to create an account. You set up and manage your household, including any child profiles, and you are responsible for everything done under your account.
2. What Familynomics is — and what it is not
Familynomics is a tool that helps a family run and teach a household “economy”: parents define chores and values, children choose and complete chores, and the app keeps a record of what each child has earned.
Familynomics does not hold, move, or process the money between you and your children. The earnings shown in the app are a record-keeping and teaching tool. All actual payments to your children happen directly between you and them, outside the app. Familynomics is not a bank, money transmitter, payment service, or provider of financial, tax, legal, or parenting advice. The only real payment we process is your subscription fee, if any (see Section 5).

3. Your account and your responsibility
You are responsible for: keeping your login secure; the accuracy of the information you enter (including any information about your children); supervising your children’s use; and all activity under your household. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t use Familynomics for any unlawful purpose, don’t attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, and don’t use it to harm or harass anyone. We may suspend or end access that violates these Terms.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Familynomics may be offered free or as a paid subscription. If you purchase a subscription:
- Billing is handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the stated period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for periods already started. We’ll honor any clearly stated refund or trial terms in effect when you subscribed.
- We’ll give reasonable notice of any price change before it applies to you.
6. Children
You create and control any child profiles. By adding a child’s information, you confirm you are that child’s parent or guardian and consent to our limited handling of that information as described in our Privacy Policy. You may review, edit, export, or delete your children’s information at any time.
7. Our content and rights
Familynomics, including its software, design, and content (other than what you enter), is owned by Proctor Software LLC and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your household while these Terms are in effect.
8. Your content
Information and content you enter remain yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the Service for you (store it, display it to your household, back it up). See the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Familynomics is an educational and organizational tool; decisions you make using it (including any payments to your children) are yours.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Proctor Software LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50.
11. Termination
You may stop using Familynomics and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or others. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling on termination is described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we’ll give reasonable notice (for example, in-app or by email). Continuing to use Familynomics after changes take effect means you accept them.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
